Phenia Films the MLB archives Original Broadcasts
United States
Приєднався 19 гру 2020
Original MLB Broadcast out of my own archives most of which were recorded & edited myself as they aired or through VCR timers In the mid 80s to the mid 2000's and also large amount of games collected through the years through VHS and DVD trades
These are all Original Broadcasts on this channel no Classic Sports or Cable Rewinds. All games have been restored and digitized, and some color corrections and cleaned-up audio tracks layed down in post production through MacroSystem straight off pre recorded or original VHS or Beta Tapes or DVD masters..
This is an ERA of Baseball that has been lost and the game hasn't been the same since the early 2000s and thats when I stopped recording, being a fan most of my original game Broadcast are from the NY Mets and probably haven't been seen since they aired most of these games were recorded & edited live of key games or just random games or games attended.
For more original MLB (& NHL) broadcast games check my more personal Phenia Film channel

Does any full game video of the 1970 all star game exist? Was wondering, it's not on UA-cam but there may be some info I'm not aware of...
just the MLB film if there is one
It was nice to see one of these old games with a behind centerfield camera view. For some reason, alot of games back then, were shown from the above catcher camera angle.
Born this night Tysm for having this!
I remember this game. I believe it was on a Saturday and I also recall Holtzman getting a double. The irony is that it was the first year of the DH and he had not had an at bat, yet, his first time up he gets a double!
Frank Cashen 2:43
I had no idea that Kenny Lofton played for the Astros. I thought he came up through the Indians organization.
I can't believe it's been nearly 20 years!⚾🇺🇸
61 twins biches servin up a gross hot dish
More 1983 games please thank you good times
'The magic is back.' Well, in six years.
Astros shouldn't be wearing white
I miss Skip and Don.
!!!! Wow!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
The Chicago cubs we're in Atlanta for this series 🙂
Thanks for uploading this!
Forgot about the relatively funky "Kiner's Korner" open at 1:57:21 - always think of the polka-ish march
52:45 this must be the first-ever playing of “Sweet Caroline” at a nationally-televised sporting event. Moments later Clemente homers.
BOBBY BO !
April 26, 1981 doubleheader vs. Angles was my last baseball trip to the Met. Drank beer in the sun in left field upper deck. Carew had four hits, including a pair of doubles in the second game. I saw the Vikings in a fall preseason game later that year. Stayed at the HoJo across the parking lot.
Oh I'm sure the rest of this footage exists somewhere . You can find bits and pieces here and there and reconstruct the last four innings
great when you do find the remaining innings and reconstruct the last four innings like you say be sure to let us know 👌 great news
@@pheniafilmsthemlbarchiveso9229 Dave volsky does all kind of sports videos. He would be the person to contact
I’m good thanks
It's so much fun to watch older games. Look at how they handled the beaning attempt. 2:02:24 Even this was better. The pitcher throws behind the batter one pitch after back to back homers and gets tossed. The manager does not get thrown out, but he gets to go out there and yell a bunch, backing his pitcher. The umpire has his say. Everybody says what they want and the game goes on peacefully from there on out. I don't know. I just really enjoy watching these games more than anything happening today.
Wow, this was exactly one month before Elvis died.
Coliseum Left field was 250 feet to the 40 foot high fence..
Ray Scott announcing, what a treat!
Barry Bonds steroid king 😅.
I've watched this a few times, and the part that always gets me is the standing ovation for Campy. To once again hear an applause from really what were and still really are the descendants of Brooklyn Dodgers fans must have been something special.
Diyle Alexander was a great ground ball pitcher
リン マグロセンは打撃も素晴らしい!
Wasn't it so much fun to go to an baseball game back then. Fenway Park was one
The cake...at least Sparky Lyle wasn't around.....
The Golden Age of Major League Baseball. And also of Major League Baseball uniforms.
Bobby Bo ! They gotta pay him in a few more days again July 1st 1.2 Million ... PAY HIM ! PAY THAT MAN HIS MONEY !
Didn’t know John Boog Powell played the outfield I remember him as a. power hitting first baseman
I thought Del Unser played with the Mets in the '73 playoffs. I also thought he was 1rst or 2nd in the batting rotation!🤔
Shitty video tape copy
Oberkfell was relly good, holy mackeral
Kingman was very tall , holy cow
The intro showed everyone but the White Sox 😢
51 stolen bases at the all star break? That's insane!!
Still using a 'disco' theme in 1983. Baseball fever...let's boogie!
Seaver
The Mets were irrelevant without Seaver
I loved Wil Cordero. Decent batting average.
My favorite team Detroit Tigers, favorite game. Thanks so much for posting.
Used to love watching the game of the week. No matter who was playing.
Ted was wrong about 1 thing. He said no one batted very than Ty Cobbs’ .367 … well he didn’t know this would happen yet Josh Gibson is now the average leader batting an all time .373, and he did it in a tougher league. The Negro Leagues defeated the Major League All Stars 51% of the time when they went head to head. I wrote that last sentence for those who read this and attempt to diminish Josh Gibson’s records. Since the Negro Leagues stats have been added to the record books, Josh Gibson is now the leader in average, OPS, and slugging. He should be the Home Run leader as well because he hit 800 home runs yet the mlb isn’t accounting for all of his hits.
I love that Lenny broke the record as a Met.
Despite being a browns fan i like the orioles too but hate the ravens
I bet I'd be win 100 games with this team on the show
A shame this game is missing the 2nd and 3rd innings.
